Gerard van Blokland works in the shipping department of Geveke Werktuigbouw, an industrial sales and services supplier.

"It was before my time, but I do know that we switched to Van Duuren because we were regularly having compressors delivered that had been damaged in transit. This can be a big problem, because they are expensive machines that are also often built specially for our customers.

In the main, Van Duuren deals with our despatches to Great Britain. A number of agreements have been made between Geveke and Van Duuren about the way the goods are transported. During their journey, the compressors never leave the trailer. And nothing is loaded on top of them. I know that here in the market some people don't always stick to the rules, after all space is expensive, but I've never had that with Van Duuren. A deal is a deal. In short, that is the basis of the years of a great co-operation between Geveke and Van Duuren. It is seldom that anything goes wrong, because we understand each other perfectly."
