Van Duuren Districenters has a new partner in Greece
Van Duuren Districenters has a new partner in Greece: Eurogroup SA. After 2010 having witnessed the creation of various new partnerships, this latest collaboration with Eurogroup SA is a new achievement in Van Duuren's continuing ambition to expand and strengthen the company's ‘pan-European' network.
Eurogroup SA is part of Orphee Beinoglou, a family business that was founded in 1923 and which is still in the hands of the Beinoglou family. This company occupies the number 1 position in the logistic services and transport sector in Greece. The firm has its headquarters in Elefsina, not far from Athens, and also has branches in Patras, Magoula and Cyprus. Included in Eurogoup's wide circle of important clients are Siemens, Johnson & Johnson, HP and L'Oreal.
Managing director Jeroen van Duuren on the new partnership: "We are constantly on the lookout for collaboration with like-minded, first-rate firms in Europe that feel as strongly about service and customer orientation as we do. Eurogroup SA is such a company. The fact that, just as Van Duuren, Eurogroup is a family business simply strengthens that fellow feeling. This is another fantastic step forward in our continuing efforts to strengthen our network in all the countries of Europe."
Van Duuren says about this new service: "We shall begin with a scheduled service to Greece that leaves every Friday for the depot in Elefsina. From there we shall take care of consignments for Greece as a whole - including the Greek islands - plus Cyprus. And I'm pleased to tell you that Lucas Bols will be using this new service to deliver their products in Greece."
